Inaugurate the new Museum of Radio Tordesillas

Thursday morning will open in Tordesillas (Valladolid), the Museum of Radio, in an event that will take place at 19 and that part of the President of the Diputación de Valladolid. The museum was created by Felix Valencia, and will aim to "show much of his private collection, which is among the best in the world," according to a release issued today by the Tourist Office of that district.
The museum that will house some 450 pieces, classified as "high-collection" - is located next to the Plaza Mayor of Tordesillas. It covers an area of 450 square meters, divided into 14 rooms.
The initiative, which has enjoyed the cooperation of Proder Zona Centro, aims to show the device in radio as a "collectible object." In addition, with the help of its funds, together with the library and documents, help in the development, promotion and distribution of the existing Museum of Radio Penafiel, which also has funds owned by Felix Valencia, effectively turning the Valladolid province in the global reference point for lovers of world radio.
