Carnaval or Carnival is an inherent part of the Mexican culture. Festivities are sometimes compared with the Mardi Gras of Rio or the New Orleans. Some towns however have their unique style of celebration. The largest of them are in Mazatlan and Veracruz. The carnival takes place is just one week before the Ash Wednesday and dates change every year. Thanks for bringing in glimpses of the gala event.
